Tranent
The parish of Tranent is bounded to the north by the Firth of Forth and the parish of Prestonpans, to the south by the parish of Ormiston, and to the east by the parishes of Gladsmuir and Pencaitland. Tranent kirkyard has the richest collection of monuments in East Lothian, which have been described throughout the 20th century by Alan Reid, Angus Graham and Betty Willsher. References made to their work will be cited in each stone's description, and external links given. Please select a stone to see more information, including a full 3D scan.
