Inveresk

Though the parish of Inveresk, which developed separately to the burgh of Musselburgh, has historically been part of the county of Midlothian, the village of Inveresk is now within the local authority of East Lothian. The parish graveyard is St Michael's Kirkyard, ast the west end of the village. There are a few gravestones of the memento mori type, though it seems many have been cleared at an unknown date.
